- Research direction: to study how we can use near term quantum devices to study various problems in physics and chemistry.
- Supervisor: Kwek Leong Chuan
- Formulated multiple research ideas and spearheaded the projects to completion. Co-authored 7 papers so far.
- Managed the running of my professors group meetings, involving scheduling speakers and handling communications with university administration.
- Investigated how to construct and analyze quantum algorithms for use on near-term quantum computers and simulators.
- Improved on and expanded the use cases for near-term quantum optimization algorithms.
- Proposed the use of Integrated Photonic Chips for use in machine learning approaches for prediction of molecular properties.
- Conceptualized the use of certain cold-atom setups for atomtronic switches, to control cold-atom currents.
- Collaborated with multiple researchers, both theoretical and experimental.
- 2022 : Intern, Part-time
- Intern at Strategy Group, Prime Minister’s Office, Singapore.
- Proposed and implemented population and housing models to predict housing demand up to 2040.
- Constructed and ran an Agent-based model to simulate Singapore’s housing market. Utilized the model to study the effects of different policies on housing and rental prices.
